As much as I would’ve like to have blogged a lot more this semester, I just haven’t had the time or motivation. But with a brand new site and some more time on my hands (hopefully), that’s all going to change.

This is actually my 100th blog post, according to WordPress, and what a perfectly timed post it is. It comes on the heels of me publishing my new & improved Nitemice.net site. I spent a solid 11 days last week (and some of this week obviously!) building it from scratch with only HTML5 & CSS. No PHP or JavaScript needed (well, except for some stat tracking JS code, which I really don’t care too much if you block), and no more Weebly. It looks wonderful and acts flawlessly in “modern” browsers on desktop or mobile! But for some reason it is totally busted in IE, even with the very latest version (IE11), which was both utterly shocking and disappointing.

What’s also disappointing is the fact that I’ve put out so few blogs in the last year, but particularly this semester. My Uni subjects this semester really gave me a run for my money, and it’s left me drained of both time and inspiration. There are no less than 5 blogs I’ve had on the back-burner for up to 9 months now, and I either haven’t have time, motivation or clarity of mind enough to be able to flesh them out and publish them for you.

Anyway, I should have a bit more time on my hands going forward because this coming year (actually starting next week) I’m doing a year-long internship as part of my Uni course. That means I should have a lot less to do in non-office hours, meaning more time to devote to this blog, and to other fun side-projects.

I won’t be talking much about the internship, though. In fact, I probably can’t tell you anything more than it’s for a company that no one seems to have ever heard of, and it’s in the city. I had to sign a contract which said lots of scary things about what I can and can’t do or say, so I’ve decided to keep these two worlds as separated as possible.

Despite that, I’m aiming to get back into writing more interesting, conversational and insightful articles on here about technology, as well as other stuff. And, as always, I’m totally open to your requests.

Oh, and in case you’ve been wondering what I’ve been doing with the spare time I did have if not blogging, here’s a list of the media I’ve been consuming:

Web Series

Series

Movies

Games

Have you seen my new website? What do you think? Is there anything wrong with it? Have you found the hidden secret? Is there anything I can do to make it better? I really want to hear what you think in the comment below.

To Infinity & Beyond,
Signature
